Shillong, May 09: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) Central Body on Saturday officially announced the names of its newly elected office bearers who will lead the organisation for the 2026–2029 term following the completion of its election and leadership renewal process.

As part of the newly formed leadership team, Raymond Kharjana was elected as President, Pynkmenlang Sanmiet as Vice-President, and Reuben Anderson Najiar as General Secretary.

The three key positions were elected uncontested after members of the organisation unanimously agreed on their appointments.

The election process for the remaining office bearers was held on Friday at Dinam Hall, Jaiaw, in the presence of KSU members from various parts of Khasi and Jaintia Hills.

Other newly elected office bearers include Pynshaibor Rani as Assistant General Secretary, Cleenstar Shabong as Organising Secretary, Alerick Kharjana as Education Secretary, Pynshai Kupar M. Dkhar as Information & Publicity Secretary, Gary R. Mawlieh as Office Secretary, Eric Anthony Nongkynrih as Sports & Cultural Secretary, and Shiningstar Kharbihkhiew as Environment Secretary.

The newly elected leadership team will now take charge of guiding the activities and programmes of the organisation during the upcoming three-year term.
