Shillong, September 3: It will be a matter of pride for Meghalaya and the country as a whole, as Phoebe Dale Nongrum has been selected to represent India in Round 2 of the Asia Auto Gymkhana Championship 2026, to be held in Uzbekistan.
Apart from Nongrum, four other participants from India will also take part in the Asia Auto Gymkhana Championship 2026.
Phoebe Dale Nongrum, who previously participated in Formula 4 car racing during 2020–2021, will be making her first appearance in an international motorsport competition.
The Meghalaya Motorsports Society, through its Vice-President Easter Giselle Kharkongor, in a statement expressed its happiness in announcing that Phoebe Dale Nongrum, a prominent motorsport participant from Meghalaya, has been selected as part of the Indian team to compete in Round 2 of the Asia Auto Gymkhana Championship 2026.

The championship is scheduled to be held from September 4 to 6, 2026, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Society also extended its best wishes to Phoebe Dale Nongrum, hoping that she performs well and brings home a victory that would be a matter of pride not only for Meghalaya but for India as a whole.
