Shillong, 25 March 2026:  In a significant initiative to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and enhance student employability, St.Edmund’s College, Shillong has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. Kolkata, to promote skill development, career awareness, and job placement opportunities in the Aviation and Hospitality sector.

The MoU was formally signed on 25 March 2026 in the College Conference room  by Br. Sunil Britto, Principal I/C  representing St. Edmund’s College and Mr. Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager on behalf of Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. in the presence of Members of the College Management and the Consultancy Representatives.

The agreement will be effective for a period of 3 years, with scope for renewal based on mutual agreement. The collaboration aims to equip students with industry-relevant skills and provide guidance on diverse career options especially within the growing aviation sector.

Speaking on the occasion, Brother Sunil Britto, Principal I/C said the initiative would help bridge the gap between education and employment, while Mr. Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager affirmed the commitment to creating career pathways for  students who aspire  careers in the aviation industry.
