Shillong, Jun 11: Union Minister of Road Transport at and Highways Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the North East India Infrastructure Summit & Exhibition (NEIINFRA) which will be hosted by Meghalaya at Lariti Performing Centre, Mawkasiang in New Shillong from June 15 to 16.
With all north-eastern states participating, the summit is expected to be one of the largest gatherings focused on infrastructure development in North East India.
Organised by Federation of Industry and Commerce of North East Region (FINER), the summit will bring together over 800 delegates, 300 senior government officials, industry leaders, investors, infrastructure developers, public sector undertakings and entrepreneurs from across the country.

The participating Central government ministries include Road Transport & Highways, Civil Aviation, Commerce & Industry, DPIIT, Communications, DONER, Food Processing, Ports, Shipping & Waterways, and Tourism.
The summit will feature high level discussions, sessions, networking opportunities and a large exhibition showcasing emerging solutions and innovation technologies, MSMEs, and Startups.
The knowledge partners for the summit include IIM Shillong, HVS Anarock and Invest India bringing expertise in knowledge papers about these sectors.
