Shillong, Aug 19: Police tonight arrested Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) president Raymond Kharjana following the widespread violent incidents that took place during the KSU bike rally in Shillong.
Earlier today evening, East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Vivek Syiem said that at least 31 vehicles, both government and private, have been damaged by persons involved in the KSU bike rally.
He also said that police would spare no efforts to trace and arrest all those involved in the violence.
