Nongpoh, October 1: The E/67 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), stationed at Nongpoh in Ri-Bhoi district, organised a cleanliness drive in and around the CRPF camp and various areas of Nongpoh town on Friday to mark the 47th Raising Day of the 67th Battalion CRPF.
The cleanliness drive was conducted from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with the participation of around 40 CRPF personnel, who actively engaged in cleaning and maintaining public spaces as part of the battalion’s community-oriented initiative.
The programme was carried out under the command of Inspector/GD Ajit Kumar, Officer Commanding (OC), E/67 Battalion, along with Inspector/GD Suresh Kumar Harizan, Company 2nd-in-Command (2IC).

The initiative highlighted the CRPF’s commitment to maintaining cleanliness and promoting civic responsibility, while strengthening its engagement with the local community. The personnel also conveyed the importance of maintaining clean and hygienic surroundings as a shared responsibility.
