Shillong, June 21: Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma, has congratulated 17-year-old Richbhalang Kharshling for his remarkable performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026.
Taking to social media, the Chief Minister lauded Richbhalang for securing an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 2626 and ST Rank 15, which has earned him admission to the prestigious Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme at IIT Bombay, one of the country’s most sought-after engineering institutions.
“Congratulations to Richbhalang Kharshling on his outstanding achievement in JEE Advanced 2026. At just 17 years old, he secured AIR 2626 and an impressive ST Rank 15, earning admission to the prestigious Computer Science & Engineering programme at IIT Bombay, one of the most sought-after courses in the country. Wishing him continued success as he joins the ranks of India’s brightest young minds. Meghalaya is proud of you,” the Chief Minister stated.
