Nongpoh, April 6: The Superintendent of Excise, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh has informed that the Government has declared April 8 and 9, as “Dry Day” in the Districts bordering with Assam in view of the polling day for the General Election to the Assam Legislative Assembly, 2026.

In this connection, all IMFL Retail Shops ON & OFF, Bonded Warehouses, Canteens, Wineries operating within the interstate border of Assam shall remain closed on the aforementioned dates.
