Shillong, May 12: The State government has made a minor reshuffle in the Police Department today.

According to the reshuffle order, Geffry W. Lyngdoh who is now the Assistant Inspector General (Law and Order) will take over as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Eastern West Khasi Hills District.

The current SP of Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Dangsan Khyriem has been posted as SP (City) Shillong in place of Dawansh Pandey who has been appointed as Assistant Inspector General (Law and Order).

SP of North Garo Hills Pawan Swapnil Bawantrao will be the new SP of East Garo Hills District in place of Stephan A. Rynjah who has been posted as Commandant of 5th MLP Battalion, Samanda, East Garo Hills.

SP (CID) Shillong, Ringrang T G Momin has been posted as SP of South Garo Hills in place of Shalendra Bamaniya who will take charge as SP (CID) Shillong.
