Shillong, Aug 7: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will land in Mumbai tomorrow to lay the foundation stone of the second Meghalaya House at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
The foundation stone laying ceremony will also be attended by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Land for the second Meghalaya House at New Mumbai was acquired at the cost of Rs 7 crore against the market value of Rs 90 crore.

Construction works are expected to begin soon. According to plans, guest houses will be established to accomodate students, patients and other people from Meghalaya visiting Mumbai.
The old existing Meghalaya House in Mumbai is located at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. It was built at the cost of Rs 5.3 crore.
