Nongpoh, November 16: The Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, today conducted a press briefing at its College of Agriculture (CoA), Kyrdemkulai Campus, ahead of the Regional Agri Fair 2025, scheduled to take place from November 17 to 19, 2025.

During the briefing, organizers announced that the fair will feature 74 exhibition stalls, including displays from Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), entrepreneurs, and agri-startups from across the North Eastern states. The event will also include 8 live demonstration platforms and 10 food stalls offering a variety of local cuisines.

The Regional Agri Fair is expected to draw participation from more than 1,600 farmers and key stakeholders, making it one of the largest agricultural gatherings in the region.

As part of the three-day programme, a total of six technical sessions will be conducted, featuring eminent speakers and experts from diverse fields. These sessions aim to address emerging trends, challenges, and innovations in agriculture and allied sectors.

The fair will host several interactive events, including live demonstrations, awareness programmes on major national agricultural schemes, and a series of competitions and thematic exhibitions such as flower show, and vegetable show, all designed to celebrate creativity and excellence in farming practices.

A key highlight of the fair will be the Business and Investors’ Meet, intended to strengthen linkages between FPOs, agri-startups, and potential investors. The meet will provide a platform for discussions on value-chain development, market access, branding, and emerging opportunities in agri-entrepreneurship.

The Regional Agri Fair 2025 promises to serve as a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and networking for the agricultural community across the Northeast.
