Shillong, May 6: In a major beureaucratic reshuffle involving 20 IAS officers, the State government has also changed the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of four districts.

As per the reshuffle order issued yesterday, the DC of East Khasi Hills District, Rosette Mary Kurbah has been transferred and posted as Commissioner and Secretary of Home (Police) Department and Tourism Department.

DC of Ri-Bhoi District, Abhilash Baranwal has been transferred and posted as DC of East Khasi Hills in place of Kurbah.

Abhishek Saini, the DC of North Garo Hills has been appointed as the new DC of Ri-Bhoi District.

DC of South West Khasi Hills District, Barnari Mawlong has been transferred and posted as Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department.

Director of Fisheries, Aitinolin L. Mawlong has been appointed as the new DC of South West Khasi Hills District.

Moreover, Richa Kulkarni, the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary of Planning & Public Investment Department and also of the Agriculture Department.

She was also appointed as the Director of Employment and Craftsmen Training and Executive Director of Meghalaya Basin Management Agency.
