Nongpoh, April 2: In Exercise of the power conferred by Sec 324 (A) of ME Act (Assam Excise Act and Rules as adapted by Meghalaya) The Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, has issued an order for the closure of all IMFL Retail Shops, Bars in Hotels, Bonded Warehouses, Bottling Units, Country made Spirit Shops, Outstills, Breweries, Canteens etc. located in Ri-Bhoi District on the 3rd April 2026 on account of the “Good Friday”.
