Shillong, May 3: In a joint operation conducted by the Police and Excise Department, authorities seized around 600 litres of illegal liquor during a night raid in the Polo, Jeep Stand, and Urkaliar areas.

The operation was led by Additional SP East Khasi Hills Saurav Saini along with DySP WCC Joyti Wahlang on the night of May 2, 2026.
