South Indian Film Shot Entirely In Meghalaya Set For Release On Friday

Shillong, Oct 8: ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep’, a south Indian film shot entirely in Meghalaya is set to be released in threaters across the world tomorrow (October 9).

The Telugu crime comedy is produced by Venu Donepudi under Chitralayam Studios and is directed by Guni Manchikanti.

The majority of the production took place across the scenic landscapes of Sohra.

With a cast of several actors, the story revolves around guns, gold and a thrilling hunt involving six individuals.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma in a special video message has congratulated the producer, the cast and the technical team for the release of the film.

Sangma also thanked the team for choosing Meghalaya to shoot the film.

Terming the release of the film “a proud moment for our State”, Sangma said, “Cinema is another wonderful opportunity to share our land with the world.”
