Rangmen Residents Witness ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Applaud Government’s Initiatives for Youth

Nongpoh, August 30: Residents of Rangmen under Nongsder village in Ri Bhoi District on Sunday expressed their joy and appreciation after witnessing the live broadcast of the 138th  episode of Mann Ki Baat, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about various achievements and initiatives undertaken by the NDA Government.

The live screening of Mann Ki Baat was organised today at Rangmen, a military area, and was attended by local residents and BJP leaders, including Sumitra Laloo, BJP National Council Member; Himanta Timung, State President of the ST Morcha; BP District President Sen Thabah; Bandari Ryntathiang, Umroi Mandal President; and Albertus Lapang, Jirang Mandal Secretary, among others.

During the 138th episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted several key issues and initiatives aimed at the development and progress of the nation across various sectors.

He also spoke about the NDA Government’s mission to make the country free from drugs and emphasised the need to empower the youth.

Speaking to Meghalayapost.news about the significance of Mann Ki Baat, local residents said they were delighted to witness the broadcast, during which the Prime Minister spoke about India’s achievements and progress.

They further said that programmes such as Mann Ki Baat help citizens remain informed about the country’s development and progress, adding that without such live broadcasts, many people would remain unaware of the developments taking place across the nation.
