Mrs. Antonia R Lyngdoh, daughter of Mr. Orlando Lyngdoh and Mrs. Philda Lamare, resident of Village Mawroh, Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi District and wife of Mr. Rodrick Kharbithai, has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) by North Eastern Hill University, Shillong for her research entitled ” Studies on effects of Curcuma caesia extract on hyperglycemia, oxidative stress and apoptosis in diabetic mice “. She carried out her research under the guidance of Dr. Surya Bhan, Associate Professor Department of Biochemistry, NEHU.
